Klaviyo management · Kansas City
Klaviyo management in Kansas City: keep Klaviyo, I write and send.
Your past customers are already sitting in Klaviyo. I write the emails in your voice. You approve them. Then I send from the account you already pay for.
Start with the 4-email pilot. The floor is $600 to $1,200.
Request the 4-email pilot | Call (816) 300-1791
Tell me how many past customers are in Klaviyo. The floor is set in writing before the first send. See pilot terms.
Not ready for the pilot? Plan it yourself first.
The planner walks you through the same four weekly emails: one offer and one unique code each, a send date, an approver, and a 14-day log for coded orders, replies and booked jobs. If the codes come back and you want it done for you, the plan is already on paper.
Send the form and the planner opens here. I also email you the link plus 3 short tips over the next 9 days from john@emailmarketingkc.com. One-click unsubscribe in every email. See the Privacy page.
What Klaviyo management means here
Maybe you searched for a Klaviyo expert, or for Klaviyo help in Kansas City, or you just typed "someone to run my Klaviyo." Here is what you actually get: the writing and the sending, done inside the account you already have.
No tutorial. No template drop. You stay on Klaviyo.
If you were looking for partner badges or a strategy deck built for big ecommerce brands, this is a different thing. It is for a Kansas City shop with a list of people who already paid.
Klaviyo is not special here. I run the same email work inside any provider, Klaviyo, Constant Contact, MailerLite and others, using your login.
I do not sell software. I sell the words and the sends.
What you keep vs what you hire
| You keep | You hire |
|---|---|
| The Klaviyo account | List care |
| The Klaviyo bill | Short owner-voice emails |
| The list | Scheduled sends you approve |
| Ownership of all of it | Unique codes on offers |
| A one-page report on ongoing plans |
You keep paying for the email tool.
The strategy, in one paragraph
Email the people who already paid you. Write in the voice of the person who did the job. Send on a schedule you approve, with a code on each offer so you can see what came back. That's the whole strategy. If you want it written down before anything goes out, the $747 email review puts it on paper with a 90-day send calendar.
Why Klaviyo accounts go quiet
The crew got busy. The owner meant to write and a job came in instead. Sometimes a vendor sold a template series that never sounded like the shop. Sometimes Klaviyo was set up for one promotion and nobody touched it again.
Most Kansas City shops do not have a dead list. They have a dusty one.
Dusty or dead?
A dusty Klaviyo list has real past customers on it. Recent sends are weak or missing, nobody knows the bounce rate, and there is no clear tracking.
A dead list is different. It is bought lists, scraped addresses, role accounts, and years of neglect with no relationship underneath.
A dusty list can earn. A dead one cannot. Here is how to tell which one you have.
The six-line Klaviyo self-check
You can answer these from your own account in a few minutes. Rough answers are fine. This is the free step, and you run it yourself.
- Last send. When did the last email go to past customers? If you cannot find one, write that down.
- Real people. Roughly how many profiles are people who actually paid you?
- Bounces. Are hard bounces still sitting on the list?
- From-name. Does mail come from a person at your shop, or from a no-reply address?
- Codes. Did your last offer carry a code you could tie to an order?
- Approval. Who approves copy at your shop, and how fast can they say yes?
Paste your six answers into the message box on the contact form. I'll reply by email.
What I do in your Klaviyo
Clean before writing
- Remove hard bounces and obvious junk.
- Check the last send date.
- Look for role accounts and duplicates.
I do not blast thousands of cold rows to "warm them up."
Short owner-voice letters
The emails sound like the person who did the job. Not a corporate newsletter, and not a generic brand voice. Here is how that works: write like the owner.
From-name, reply-to, and footer cleaned
You get a simple letter template with the from-name, reply-to, and footer cleaned up. This is part of setup, not the pilot.
Scheduled sends you approve
Nothing goes out without your yes. Extra campaigns need a written yes too.
Unique codes on offers
Each offer carries a unique code, so an order ties back to a send. Details are in unique code tracking.
What I won't do
- Move you off Klaviyo for sport.
- Buy lists.
- Promise open rates.
- Send anything you have not approved.
- Sell you a 12-column template.
One honest exception: if the tool is genuinely broken, setup includes a simple replacement, and I will say so before you pay.
The service is emails, written and sent in your voice.
Start with the 4-email pilot
Four weekly emails, in your voice, each one approved by you before it goes out. You keep paying for Klaviyo.
- You pay 10% of orders placed within 14 days of a send.
- Orders are tracked with a unique code in each email.
- The floor is $600 to $1,200 depending on list size, agreed in writing first.
- If tracking is not in place, we stop.

After the pilot: published prices
Same numbers as pricing, set in writing before work starts.
- Email review, $747. I look at the list and the tool, rewrite your last eight subjects, build a 90-day send calendar, and we talk for 45 minutes.
- Setup, $2,800. I clean the list, build a simple letter template, clean up the from-name and footer, and write the first four emails.
- Monthly emails, $1,850 a month. One email a month, one offer, subject tests on the last send, and a one-page report.
- Weekly emails, $3,900 a month. One email a week, follow-up on quotes that sat, list care, and a one-page report.
Daily emails are phone only: 8% of list-tied sales with a $6,500 minimum. That only makes sense when 8% beats $3,900 and the list is clean.
Cancel monthly or weekly by email before the next bill. The full cost breakdown is on email marketing cost, and the full hire page is email marketing agency in Kansas City. List in Mailchimp instead? See Mailchimp management.
How I measure
Replies and booked jobs from people who already paid you. Coded orders when there is an offer.
Opens are a soft signal. Apple Mail Privacy Protection often counts an open when nobody read the email. More in the open rates guide.
I live and work in Kansas City full time, and I can meet at your counter. A remote agency cannot sit there and hear how you actually talk to customers. More on about and how it works.
If your customers start out in ServiceTitan or Jobber, the ServiceTitan and Jobber guide covers how to email them without burning the list.
Testing and reporting
Testing here is narrow on purpose. Monthly plans include subject tests on the last send. That is the test in the plan, so that is the one I describe.
Reporting is one page. Monthly and weekly plans each come with a one-page report. The scoreboard stays the same: replies, booked jobs, and coded orders, not open rates. If a report can't tell you whether the list earned money, it missed the point.
Work so far
Named work on this site is limited to what Work already publishes: owner-voice email for a Kansas City flooring and epoxy shop, and for an independent running store. Client names are not published. Results are not published yet. Neither job ran in Klaviyo, so this page makes no Klaviyo client claims.
Fit notes live on flooring email marketing and running store email marketing.
Questions owners ask
Do I have to leave Klaviyo? No. If Klaviyo works, it stays. I write and send inside the account you already pay for, and you keep the account, the list, and the bill. If the tool is genuinely broken, setup includes a simple replacement, and I will say so before you pay anything.
What does Klaviyo management include? List care, short emails written in your voice, scheduled sends you approve, and a unique code on each offer so orders tie to a send. Ongoing plans add a one-page report. You keep paying Klaviyo for the tool. Extra campaigns need a written yes before I send them.
How much does Klaviyo management cost? Start with the 4-email pilot: 10% of orders placed within 14 days of a send, with a floor of $600 to $1,200 set in writing first. After that, the email review is $747, setup is $2,800, monthly is $1,850, and weekly is $3,900. You keep paying Klaviyo separately.
Is there a free Klaviyo audit? There is no free audit on the price list. The free step is the six-line self-check on this page, which you run inside your own account in a few minutes. The paid planning step is the email review, $747: I look at the list and the tool, rewrite your last eight subjects, build a 90-day send calendar, and we talk for 45 minutes. You can also skip planning and start with the pilot.
Who does the work in my Klaviyo account? What you hire is the writing and the sending, done by me inside the Klaviyo account you already own. I do not sell software, and you keep paying Klaviyo directly. I live and work in Kansas City full time and can meet at your counter.
Is my list big enough? About 500 or more real past customers is the usual fit. 250 to 499 can work when jobs are high-ticket. Under 250 clean names is a hard conversation. A few hundred real customers beat 20,000 dead addresses, so I check the list before writing anything.
Do you report open rates? Not as the scoreboard. Apple Mail Privacy Protection often counts an open when nobody read the email. I track replies and booked jobs from people who already paid you, plus coded orders when there is an offer. That tells you whether the list earned money.
Next step
Your customers already know you, and their names are already in Klaviyo. What's missing is someone to write and hit send.
Tell me your list size and paste in your six self-check answers.
Or call (816) 300-1791, or email john@emailmarketingkc.com. The floor is set in writing before the first send. See pilot terms.
